Comments are an important part of blogs because they allow the reader of the blog a chance to participate in the blog. They can comment on whether they agree disagree or even have tips on how to make it better. The author of the blog can utilize these comments to appeal to the their audience in their next blog post. This can create a specific reader base if they utilize the comments properly.
Advice is a funny thing, some people want it and others don't but the most important thing that it is constructive. I believe in always making a crap sandwich; good/bad/good/bad/good. By always starting and ending with a good it leaves a positive message to the author, it shows respect with minimal amount of constructive criticism. There are two ways to convey a message, a right way and a wrong way. The context in which people right can be harsh sometimes so by reconstructing a negative statement to be read in a light way can cause more change in the authors blog than a harsh comment could.
